Visit the Museum of Parchim
Visit the Museum in the Kulturmühle Parchim with it’s new permanent exhibition. It conveys the cities history from early history to the present on 900m² in German and English. Multiple interactive elements enrich the exhibition, allowing you to experience the past with your senses – you can see it, smell it, hear it or feel it.
On an area of 300m² the museum also regularly shows temporary exhibitions on various topics like history, art, culture, science or society.
Our current special exhibition "Der Wald und ICH" ("The forest and ME") is available with English text.
Together with the Junges Staatstheater Parchim, the Tourist Information and the inclusive restaurant Mahlwerk the Museum of Parchim is located in the historical building of the Eldemühle since May 2023.
